The ‘pop-up‘ session for EARLY at the Urban Farm Store on Saturday was such a kick. Hillsboro’s Farmer’s Market was going strong, so people dropped in singly, as couples and in groups of friends and families. The Bennetts are such warm and welcoming people, that it was a relaxed and fun time in my corner near the front door of their unique store. Many folks just stopped to talk about writing, or about family who had been loggers or simply what folks lived through in the early 20th century. Sales went well, but the interactions were even better. Another day of gratitude! 8/22/2026
